FLEA/TICK & DEWORMING TREATMENT
Not only does Flea and Worm control is vital for your pet’s health but also for public health. The City Vet medical & nursing team provides a complete preventative health check for internal & external parasite treatments. In addition, we will give you the most recommended flea/ticks and deworming products that we know will help your pets not to be infested by these parasites.
Because of the hot climate in Dubai and most parts of UAE, ticks are widespread; thus, it is always advisable to follow regular treatments and abide by the recommendations from your expert team of specialists. And since all pets are affected by these parasites at some stage in their lives, it is crucial to take note of the following.
DEWORMING PROTOCOL
DOGS
- Every 2 weeks until 12 weeks of age (deworming syrup – given for 2 consecutive days)
- Monthly until 6 months of age
- Every 3 months; especially if you have children at home
CATS
- Every 2 weeks until 12 weeks of age
- Monthly until 6 months of age
- Every 3 months – outdoor cat hunter/raw food diet
- Every 6 months – for an indoor cat

- Monthly if using a spot-on solution
- Every 3 months – (Tablet)
CATS
- Monthly if using a spot-on solution
- Every 3 months if using Bravecto Spot-on
